Our goal to gift therapy dolls to those who need them the most.

Alz’s Nursery was created from the desire to help our loved ones who suffer from Alzheimer’s or another type of Dementia, striving to comfort those struggling. Our goal is to gift hyper-realistic Therapy Dolls to those who need them the most. These babies have been proven to reduce the need for some medications. Helping to ease stress, sadness, loneliness, confusion and many other challenges these people suffer from, naturally. Therapy babies not only help bring comfort and companionship to our loved ones but help restore a sense of purpose and rekindle long lost memories.

Our dolls act much like a sensory object would, triggering the brain to create a natural dopamine affect using visual, physical and olfaction elements.

Our therapy babies are custom made using the highest quality materials and craftsmanship in mind. Each baby is created with as much realism as possible, replicating a real newborn baby. Each baby is strategically weighted to meet the needs of their recipient making them feel and snuggle in your arms like a real newborn. These beautiful babies even have that sweet newborn baby scent.

We offer baby dolls for adoption with the proceeds helping to cover costs, gifting babies to those who need them the most at NO charge.

If you would like to nominate someone who suffers from Alzheimer’s or another type of dementia, please contact us. Let us know why you think one of our babies would be a good fit for your loved one and a little about the person your nominating. In order to meet the requirements to receive one of these babies at no charge, would follow:

You can not nominate yourself.
The person you are nominating must have a confirmed diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or another type of dementia.
We must have consent from the primary caregiver in order to gift a baby to their loved one.

First priority will go to those who live in a long term care facility or memory care. As these loved ones are not able to receive the continued support like someone who’s able to live at home with family can.

We look forward to helping you and your loved one find a little peace in times of darkness.

‘My name is Ginger Kelly. I am a daughter of two beloved parents that have been and are stricken with both Alzheimer’s and Frontotemporal Dementia. My sister Lisa and I were the primary caregivers for our Mother until she passed away from COVID-19 at the very beginning of the epidemic, on May 4th, 2020. Watching our Mother suffer from the loss of one’s self, Alzheimer’s brings and having to reluctantly move her into a Memory Care, I started to research therapy babies. We did everything we could to stay with her. Wether we were taking her out on outings or staying connected on her Alexa, video chatting all hours of the night, it wasn’t enough to help those moments we were not able to be with her. In the last years of her life I had given our mother three therapy babies, two girls and one boy. Watching how quickly all her anguish and sadness disappeared, only being replaced with complete and utter contentment and joy, I knew I had to help more of our loved ones feel the relief my beautiful Mother was feeling. It was at that point I started buying custom made therapy babies and giving them away to residents in other memory care facilities.

After my Mama was taken from us so quickly, I was in a very dark place struggling to cope from the loss and trauma of her passing. It was at that point my family decided to get me the necessary materials to give painting these beautiful babies a try. I would spend every waking moment painting in my workshop. Slowly my anguish and sadness was replaced with joy once again. Watching how much of an impact these little ones we’re making in our loved ones lives, I continued to grow the Nursery making therapy babies myself. Hence, a way to help bring the cost down in order to help even more people”.

It was at that point we adopted the name Alz’s Nursery, short for “Alzheimer’s” and our mission helping others took off full speed ahead.

I literally held my box in my arms and felt so privileged to have a piece of the nursery, to have these absolutely gorgeous over the top collection of baby clothes in my hands, that Ginger has brought in to her boutique from other countries. I can’t tell you how special it is to unpack these stunningly precious baby dresses and spot this gorgeous red, white and gold bracelet that she placed in there as a surprise gift My heart was so touched by her kindness and it meant the world to me, she placed another bracelet in my other package as well, and the most darling knitted socks & booties. I love shopping at her boutique online and I have placed my order for a custom reborn that I know will bring me so much joy. I have seen the endless hours of work Ginger spends on rooting the babies hairs one strand at a time under a magnifying glass, her labor of love is why I am honored to be a part of this nursery Thank you, Sincerely Tracey "

"Alex is definitely a 5/5 and would be more if I could give it. He is so perfect. He is weighted to feel just like a newborn and he smells like baby powder. I snuggled him and wanted to just keep holding him but he is a gift for someone special. He will be delivered to them on Christmas Eve!
