Description

Dune is sculpted by the incredibly talented Sheila Mrofka and brought to life by myself Ginger Kelly with Alz’s Nursery. Dune is a limited edition sculpt #8/800, weighing 6 pounds 3 ounces and 19” long. This gorgeous baby was a contest baby for the West Coast Doll Show.

This sweet art doll has full limbs that has been hand painted using Genesis and heat set paints. You will find lots of details including lanugo, blemishes, capillaries, milia, and more. The body being made with a soft doe suede material that has my hand embroidered purple heart. This gorgeous doll has been weighted with fine glass beads and filled with the softest angel silk fibre, giving an ultra realistic feel when holding.

Dune has been carefully mono-rooted with a rich dark brown coloring that was achieved by, combining multiple shades of yearling mohair. Each hair having been delicately placed by hand using multiple techniques to give her that sweet newborn style.

This beautiful piece of art will come home in an outfit from our boutique (you can request to have him come home as a boy or girl). He has also been fitted with a magnetic component to take a magnetic pacifier. One will be included. It is not recommended to use around a person who has a pacemaker, hearing aids or any other electronic components, as the magnet can disrupt proper functioning. We will not be held liable for any occurrence.

Dune will come home with his COA, birth certificate, pacifier and a few other goodies.

Dune is a collectable Art Doll that has been hand painted, rooted and assembled. It is not intended to be used as a toy. Absolutely no refunds are allowed. All sales are final.

This is a piece of art and should be treated as such. Handling of any kind can cause wear on the paint and or rooting. Any touch ups needed will be at an additional charge. As it has been hand painted, color appearance will vary depending on the light and or monitor it is being viewed under.
