What a Wonderland!
Let me tell you, Janie Scott, owner of the West Coast Doll Show, and her staff, blew everyone away with this show!! All the vendor’s artistry was simply incredible! The props were the most creative, colorful, and magical thing I have ever seen!! Everywhere you turned, there was another gorgeous prop to take photos with or simply enjoy! Taking it all in truly made you feel like you were in Wonderland! Every single day was packed full of excitement!
My amazing husband was a rockstar, helping to support me in any way he could! He didn’t even complain once while driving over three days and 30 hours to get there! He was absolutely essential in helping not only to drive but also to help me feel better when I got horribly sick on the way there!
By the second day of my advanced comprehensive silicone painting class with Susan Gibbs, I got so incredibly sick I had to leave class early. I spent the entire rest of the day and night in bed! I was so worried I wasn’t going to be well enough to man the booth with my husband! Thankfully, after a few days, I was a hundred times better! I made it to my photography class and was ready for the weekend events, and show!
The weekend did not disappoint a single person! From the crazy costumes and endless treats at the tea party, to the lavish banquet where everyone felt like royalty! It was simply a wonderland! So if you’ve never been to a doll show I highly recommend getting out to Ontario, California for next years show! 80’s Babies, March 5th 2027!!
